Reba McEntire Praised By Kelly Clarkson At Kennedy Center Honors

Reba McEntire got a really big honor last night! The country music superstar was one of the recipients of the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors! Get all the details about the ceremony right here.
Reba was the first honoree of the night. She looked regal in a bright blue dress and couldn’t contain her smile!
She was introduced to the audience by Kelly, who is married to Brandon Blackstock, Reba’s ex stepson. Kelly has remained close to Reba despite the fact that Reba and her father-in-law, Narvel Blackstock have split.
“Sometimes we meet our heroes and it doesn’t always pan out,” Kelly said. “But meeting Reba, being friends with her, and eventually becoming family has been one of the highlights of my life,” she continued.

“Thank you for being a really rad grandma for my kids,” she quipped. “I love you so much. I hope you enjoy this song. Don’t judge me,” she then joked before performing Reba’s hit “Fancy”.
Fellow country acts Lady Antebellum and Brooks & Dunn along with Kristin Chenoweth also honored the 63-year-old.
Other big stars like Cher, and Lin-Manuel Miranda along with his fellow Hamilton creators also received awards.
