Kelly Clarkson Dishes On How Often She Has Sex With Husband Brandon Blackstock
Kelly Clarkson isn't shy about her sex life with husband Brandon Blackstock. The American Idol alum got very candid with The Voice season 14 winner Brynn Cartelli on a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Kelly, 37, who was Brynn's coach on the singing competition show, was asked some NSFW questions during a round of “Ask Me Anything.” “What is the last thing you do before you go to bed every night?” Brynn, 16, wondered. “Is there one thing?”
The "Miss Independent" singer replied, "Well, Brynn, I was single for many years. So, I have children now, and how one makes children is generally what I do before bed. That’s not a lie, that’s real! And it’s not weird, it’s natural.”
“And this is why America loves you!” Brynn quipped. Kelly and Brandon, 43, are parents to daughter River, 5, and son Remy, 3. The talent manager is also a dad to his 17-year-old daughter, Savannah, and 12-year-old son, Seth, from a previous marriage. Brandon and Kelly began dating in 2012 and married in Tennessee in October 2013.

Kelly told Redbook in 2017, "Any time we’re in a discussion about sex with a bunch of couples, Brandon and I stay pretty quiet. To keep it family appropriate, let’s say we’re just a lot more active than other couples. I’m a person who loves change. He loves spontaneity. Having a set time or place to have sex would be boring to us.”
“I had never found someone I was truly passionate about, who I wanted to stay in bed with all day,” she explained to the publication. “The fact that I did, well … I was going to latch on and take advantage of that.”
In a November 2017 interview with Sirius XM, the Grammy winner admitted that she "never felt like, honesty, sexually attracted to anybody" before her husband. "And I'm not downing my exes. You know, everybody's different. But there was something about him. honestly thought I was asexual—I'd never been turned on like that in my whole life," she said. "I was like, 'Oh that's that feeling...OK! That's what they were talking about in Waiting to Exhale. I just got it. I just didn't have a clue."
