“In honor of you @joanrivers...'If you looked at aerodynamics, at science, the bumble bee should not be able to fly.
Physically, it was just not anatomically equipped to soar. Yet it did, defying gravity, defying logic. The bee was a creature that defied and beat the odds, a miracle.’ Thank you for being my Miracle @joanrivers.” How moving!
Joan died at the age of 81 in New York last month. She was rushed to Mount Sinai after going into cardiac respiratory arrest during a visit to her doctor for throat surgery, but passed away a week later.
Her daughter, Melissa, later told fans in a statement, “Cooper Melissa’s son and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated."
"My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”
