It was a big moment for longtime married couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, as their son Michael scored a role on the popular CW series Riverdale. They both congratulated him about this epic moment over the weekend, which read as both emotional and humorous all at the same time.
In a very like father, like son type of ordeal, Michael has earned himself the role of young Hiram Lodge. It's the character that Mark has played for two seasons on the soapy teen series.
Kelly congratulated her son on Instagram Saturday by posting a collage of photos that featured a solo shot of him and some with his siblings.
"Congrats Michael on being cast as young Hiram Lodge on @thecwriverdale however @instasuelos and i would like to take this opportunity to remind you and your siblings that as your fiduciaries we are hereby entitled to 10% of all future earnings hereto wit, or something like that."
His father Mark followed suit with his own touching post that he shared on Sunday.
"Bucket list moment for Mom and Dad," he captioned. "Congrats to my son Michael on being cast as the younger (and much better and handsomer) Hiram..We are so proud. Love you MJC."
Michael joins real life lovebirds Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse on the CW program. She recently posted a heartwarming birthday tribute to her boyfriend on his 26th birthday.
