Kelly Ripa wears a sequined pencil skirt while posing outside the 'Late Show With David Letterman' in New York City
Kelly Ripa is smiling big these days, because at one point — she wasn't able to! The television personality recently revealed why Botox is not for everyone.
The 46-year-old admitted that for six months, she wasn't able to crack a smile after getting bad injections. "I got bad Botox about … What was it, a year ago? And it was bad. It did something to my good side, so then I had two bad sides. I'm not kidding!" Kelly told FOX News political commentator Megyn Kelly.
However, Kelly likely didn't stop undergoing the beauty regime, as she claimed back in 2014 that Botox changed her life, but in a good way. When asked about how she maintains her good looks by Andy Cohen, she said, "Beauty products—Botox. And that's pretty much it." But clearly there's a major risk involved!
She said at the time, "I'm not advocating one way or the other but I'm just saying Botox has changed my life. It's cut my getting ready time in half."
But maybe it's worth the extra 30 minutes putting on makeup to stop getting the injections done. Not being able to smile sounds downright scary!
