Kensington Palace Releases The Latest Details On Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s Wedding!

With just two weeks to go before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s May 19 wedding, the Kensington Palace has released brand new details about the royal event! And one thing is for certain: family will play a huge role in the big day!

According to Harry's Communications Secretary, Meg’s father Thomas Markle will be walking her down the aisle, while her mother Doria Ragland will accompany Meghan in the car to Windsor Castle, where the ceremony will be held.
Meghan’s parents are expected to arrive in England the week of the wedding, and during their visit, Meg's father will be meeting Prince Harry for the first time! Meg's parents will also meet Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, and Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Prince Harry’s brother Will has been announced as best man, but he won’t be the only member of the family with a special role on the big day. The brothers’ mother Princess Diana’s side will be involved in the wedding as well.

All three of Princess Di’s siblings will attend, and her sister Lady Jane Fellowes will give the reading. “Prince Harry and Ms. Markle both feel honoured that Lady Jane will be representing her family and helping to celebrate the memory of the late Princess on the wedding day,” the secretary announced on behalf of the couple.
The ceremony will take about an hour, after which Harry and Meghan will take a Carriage Procession through town for 25 minutes. They will then head to a reception at St. George’s Hall, and attend an evening reception at Frogmore House.
In addition to friends, family, and invited guests, the town of Windsor is also making room for all the fans expected to flock to the city to catch a glimpse of the happy couple. The family has arranged for a 6,000 space pre-booked parking area, extra trains, and even a team of 140 volunteers.
