Kenya Moore Reveals Her Recovery After Birth Has Been ‘Tough’

Kenya Moore opened up on her social media about how "tough" things have been for her while she's in recovery mode from giving birth to her first child. Read on for all the details.
Kenya welcomed baby number one into the world, a girl named Brooklyn Doris, on Sunday morning.
“Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me,” Kenya told PEOPLE about how she and her husband Marc Daly came up with their daughter's name.
Kenya's RHOA costar Kandi Burruss (who she spent a lot of time with during her pregnancy) got her a beautiful bouquet of flowers that she displayed on her social media Tuesday afternoon.

It was within this post that Kenya revealed how her recovery journey has been post birth, which hasn't been easy according to the 47-year-old.
"Having a tough day of recovery and just got these!" she admitted. "So gorgeous feeling so emotional! Thank you @kandi for being you and all your generosity from you and your family! I love you mama!"
The end of Kenya's pregnancy was riddled with problems as she had to be induced way ahead of her due date (Thanksgiving) because of pre-eclampsia. She checked into the hospital on Saturday and gave birth early Sunday morning.
