“Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me,” Kenya told PEOPLE about how she and her husband Marc Daly came up with their daughter's name.

It was within this post that Kenya revealed how her recovery journey has been post birth, which hasn't been easy according to the 47-year-old.

The end of Kenya's pregnancy was riddled with problems as she had to be induced way ahead of her due date (Thanksgiving) because of pre-eclampsia. She checked into the hospital on Saturday and gave birth early Sunday morning.
