Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is stepping away from the drama and leaning into motherhood. On Wednesday, July 31, the reality star took to Instagram and posted an adorable video of daughter Brooklyn. The super sweet clip comes after her ex-boyfriend Matt Jordan was arrested for allegedly assaulting his current girlfriend.
In the video posted to the 48-year-old’s account, baby Brooklyn giggled uncontrollably at the camera. ”Why are you so silly?” Kenya asked. “What are you doing? You’re playing with the bed?”
“Morning giggles from @thebrooklyndaly,” the Bravo star wrote in the caption. “Was a very hard night for me and to wake up to this makes my life make sense. Mother+Daughter ?.”
Though she didn’t elaborate on what caused her “hard night,” on July 30, news of Matt’s arrest went public.

According to reports, Matt was allegedly taken into custody after a physical altercation with his girlfriend, Valerie Bell.
Valerie claimed Matt punched her in the face while the two of them were in a Denny’s parking lot on July 27. An eyewitness backed up her allegations.
Though Matt had already fled the scene by the time cops arrived, hours later, they were able to apprehend him at Valerie’s home in Maricopa. Upon his arrest, law enforcement discovered he had a warrant stemming from an April 2019 incident.
Back in April, Matt was booked for aggravated assault, theft and threatening/intimidating with damage to property.
