Kerry proved that she was more than ready for her close-up on Broadway in the upcoming play, American Son, as she dropped jaws on the red carpet at Audience Rewards’ 10th anniversary celebration in New York City.
The 41-year-old werked it in a form-fitting red leather dress with matching heels. She accessorized with a red clutch and flirty waves in her highlighted hair.

Fans of the Scandal have likely rushed to sign up for Audience Rewards now, since she will star in the play set at a Florida police station in the middle of the night where two parents are looking for answers. Steve Pasquale, who walked the red carpet with Kerry, also stars in the production.
Scandal showrunner Shonda Rhimes, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Gabrielle Union, and Kerry’s hubby Nnamdi Asomugha recently joined the producing team for the show. It opens this October.
