While Kim’s fame has certainly increased over the years, and she’s been invited to exclusive events such as the Met Gala, that isn’t good enough for her. And a source told OK! exclusively, “her growing jealousy over her supermodel sister went off the scale over Kenny’s White House invite.”
Earlier this month, Kendall conversed with President Obama at the White House Correspondents Dinner, and he even mentioned her during his speech! So now, Kim realizes that the 18-year-old is being taken more seriously than she is!

Kendall has certainly tried to distance herself from her drama-filled family, even dropping her last name professionally and just going by “Kendall” for all her modeling gigs.
And it doesn’t help matters that Kim is actually the one who encouraged and helped Kendall become a model, even taking her to runway classes, which was documented on their family’s reality show!
Added the insider, “Kim knows that none of them would have these opportunities if it hadn’t been for her.” Maybe Kim will be invited to next year’s dinner at the White House!
