They might be happily in love now but Kim Zolciak-Biermann revealed that, eight years ago, hubby Kroy Biermann tried to break up with her! Keep reading for all the details on their almost-permanent split.
Under a picture of Kroy in a speedo and showcasing his impressive physique, the reality show star took a moment to brag about her man and let followers in on a little relationship secret.
“Yes please! For the love of God! Wet n Wild Wednesday! @kroybiermann,” the caption began. “Fun Fact: Today eight years ago, Kroy TRIED to break up with me. That lasted only 24 hrs. Grateful for you baby! My ride or die, my rock, my heart, the best daddy ever and you are the hottest man I ever did see. #ImGreatWithDates #IRemember.”
Ever the savvy businesswoman, Kim promised fans that if they tuned into her newest podcast episode, they would be able to learn the full story.
“Let’s jump into the fact that you clearly realized very quickly you made a very big mistake,” she told her husband before they launched into the explanation.

After months of dating in secret to avoid media scrutiny, they were exposed as a couple and the immediate and constant attention proved to be too much for the football player. He attempted to end the relationship.
“It was probably something to the effect of: ‘Hey, just wanted to let you know it might be in our best interest to go our separate ways,” he said before Kim interrupted him. She interjected, “That’s exactly what it said! You jerk!”
Luckily the former Atlanta Falcons player quickly came to his senses and the two reunited! They tied the knot back in 2011 and they have four children together, in addition to the two daughters from Kim’s previous relationships that Kroy adopted.
