Kirsten Dunst got surprisingly emotional while walking the Cannes Film Festival red carpet on Wednesday. The actress was attending the premiere of her film The Beguiled when she unexpectedly burst into tears. Kirsten tried keeping her tears at bay, to no avail. Meanwhile, the actress got little to no support from co-star, Elle Fanning, and director, Sofia Coppola. The two women couldn't help but laugh at Kirsten's shocking breakdown!
While the rest of her cast mates looked overjoyed to be attending the Cannes Film Festival, Kirsten looked overwhelmed by the moment. If she was looking for comfort from the 19-year-old Elle, she wasn't going to find it! The teenager broke into a fit of giggles upon seeing Kirsten cry.
Sofia was no help either! Kirsten has worked with the director on multiple films, including Marie Antoinette and The Virgin Suicides, so you'd think Sofia would at least lend Kirsten a tissue!
But unfortunately Kirsten was left on her own to dry her tears!
Maybe Kirsten is emotional being away from her fiancé, Jesse Plemons? The Fargo co-stars got engaged earlier this year, and the actress was reportedly eager to start a family.
