The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was holding her daughter’s hand only moments before the traumatizing incident.

Although P was only one step behind her mother, that didn’t stop a car door from smacking her in the face.

Penelope’s head snapped back once hit by the door, as the nanny attempted to catch the little one. 

The tot looked horrified as she was flung to the ground! A source revealed to RadarOnline that P received medical attention after the blow.

“Kourtney had her checked out by their home doctor right after this happened to make sure that nothing was broken,” the insider said.

Although Kourtney was slow to react to her screaming child, the insider explained how Kourtney “is usually so careful about keeping Penelope out of harm’s way.” The source added, “She is such a precious little girl and Kourtney is absolutely mortified that this even happened.”
