Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson made sure she celebrated her 35th birthday in style. During the Sunday, December 1 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the basketball player bought the reality star a flashy diamond necklace and an equally luxurious diamond ring.

When Khloe discovered Tristan’s first lavish gift— the necklace– she admitted that she felt torn about accepting the jewelry. “I am conflicted as to if I should keep it or not. I just really want to make sure there are no expectations,” she said after thanking Tristan for the necklace. “If I keep something is that misleading? It’s the sweetest, kindest gesture, but it doesn’t mean a necklace is going to fix everything.”

However, that was only the first part of the Cleveland Cavaliers player’s birthday gifting spree. He later presented the Good American designer with a ring, which only left her feeling even more conflicted. She vented to Scott Disick about Tristan’s purchase and admitted she initially turned down the present. “He gives me a card and he goes, ‘And I hope you accept this ring’ ” she recalled. “And I go ‘Nope! No!’

“This is a beautiful new you that I’m seeing, I just don’t want there to be any blurred lines or for you to think anything,” she told the father of her daughter True. Despite the ice, Khloe insisted that she and Tristan were not back together and that there was “nothing romantic” happening between them.

Tristan and Khloe have a storied relationship history. The Toronto native was first caught cheating on the Revenge Body star in April 2018 when she was still pregnant. Then in February 2019, Tristan was involved in another cheating scandal, this time involving Kylie Jenner's ex-best friend Jordyn Woods. The pair shared a smooch at a party at Tristan's house.
