Kylie Jenner's Hair Stylist Tokyo Stylez Makes 'First Step' In Her Transition With Breast Surgery
Tokyo Stylez is making moves towards a new life. Tokyo, a celebrity hairstylist who's behind some of Kylie Jenner and Cardi B’s most iconic hairstyles, revealed that she has taken the initial step in her transition.
On Saturday, Tokyo, 29, announced that she had undergone breast augmentation and a Brazilian butt lift that consisted of liposuction to transfer fat to her thighs in order to emphasize her curves. Tokyo documented the parts of procedure on her Instagram Story.
The beauty expert posted the news on her Instagram, sharing a fresh-faced selfie while she rested in bed with bandages across her chest. Tokyo went on the thank those who voiced their support.
“Surgery was successful thanks again for all of you who had me in your prayers and supported me for making the decision to transition,” Tokyo wrote. “You guys have no idea having the support from you all means.

The Omaha native also thanked Dr. Matthew J Nykiel, who performed the surgery. “But most all of thanks @socalplasticsurgeon and @buttsbydesign for making my first step in transition a success,” the celebrity hairstylist wrote. While in recovery, Tokyo expressed that she “couldn’t wait to heal and show you guys the final results.”
Fans and peers flocked to Tokyo’s comment section to congratulate her on her new journey. “Proud of you that you choose to live in your truth,” celebrity makeup artist Hrush Achemyan wrote.
The celebrity stylist first told her 1.2 million Instagram followers about her procedure on Thursday, November 7. “Up packing preparing for my surgery tomorrow,” Tokyo. “You guys have no idea how excited I am to have these procedures done with @socalplasticsurgeon @buttsbydesign. I’ll keep you guys updated tomorrow on live etc. until I go under.” She added, “Wish me luck and say a prayer for me.”
Frequent client and friend, Kylie, 22, sent the stylist well wishes via social media. “Good luck baby,” the reality star wrote.
