Gaga tweeted her support for Cardi late Monday night.
"It is so hard to be a woman in this industry. What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art. I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave," she wrote.

The comments got to the "Money Moves" singer and she went on Instagram to voice how it affected her. "Last year everybody was like, 'Cardi got snubbed! Cardi got snubbed!' Now this year's a f*****g problem," she said in the video before deleting her account.
People slammed Cardi's win for all sorts of reasons. Ariana Grande was one of those upset the late Mac Miller didn't get it. Others said she shouldn't have gotten Best Rap Album because none of the songs on it won awards.
Chance the Rapper also praised her historical night by tweeting directly to the star. "This is overly deserved, the album was front-to-back hits. It would be inconceivable not to honor you last night," he said.
