Lady Gaga, who is performing at tonight's telecast, wore a bizarre pair of red gloves with her custom Alaia gown.

This is designer Alaia's Oscars debut, and we were hoping it would be the debut of Gaga's engagement ring, too! What a bummer!

Gaga got engaged last week to her longtime boyfriend, Taylor Kinney. Her engagement ring is a huge heart-shaped diamond with "T <3 S" written in diamonds along the band.
