Lamar Odom Caught In The Crossfire Of Queens Shooting

Lamar Odom somehow escaped a shooting in Queens unscathed early Wednesday morning. The former NBA star and ex-husband to Khloé Kardashian was at a Hooters with some friends when someone pulled out a gun. Read on for more details.
While sitting outside at the Fresh Meadows Place restaurant, around 12:30 a.m., some of Lamar's friends got in a fight with a nearby group.
One man from the other group pulled out a handgun and fired off several shots into the air, according to Page Six. He then fled the scene.

Luckily no one was hit by the bullets, and Lamar, 38, and his friends left without injury. The basketball player didn't appear to be the target of the shots or involved in the argument.
Lamar later posted a message to fans on Instagram, reassuring them he's alright. "I want to let my fans know that I am OK," he wrote. "Thanks for your messages I will try to respond to as many fans I can."
"Just to share the 'truth' here with you all," he continued, "I was near the scene when it just happened and not involved in any way!"
