Then he opens up about losing his mother at 12 years old and the effect that it had on him. He says his grandmother got him through that tough time, and then she passed away around when he started using cocaine while on vacation in Miami at 24 years old.

Two years later, Lamar lost his six-month-old son to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and he says he began to spiral. By the time he was in his thirties he was doing cocaine all the time. "One of the darkest places I’ve ever been was when I was in a motel room, getting high with this chick, and my wife (at the time) walked in," he writes of Khloe catching him doing drugs with another woman. "My dick and my habit took me down all the roads that you don’t ever wanna go down."
