Lamar Odom Had Just Four Hours To Live, Khloe Kardashian Recalls Doctors Telling Her After His Drug Overdose
Khloe Kardashian revealed shocking new details about Lamar Odom and his health condition in an interview with the Today show—even admitting he was not expected to pull through after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.
"It's a horrible call to get," Khloe said. "Getting to the hospital and knowing he's in a coma and having to run these tests or make medical decisions—it's terrifying."
And though Lamar did wake up from his coma three days later, doctors initially told Khloe her estranged husband had just “four hours to live,” she recalled.
Lamar, 36, is now recovering in a Los Angeles hospital, and though he is no longer in a coma, he still has a long way to go as he re-learns basic skills.

"He is learning how to walk again and learning ... cognitive therapy and speech therapy," the 31-year-old explained. "They think, like, within a year and a half to two years that, mentally, he might be fully recovered. But they don't know."
And dealing with Lamar’s health crisis has been tough on everyone, especially Khloe, who is in charge of his medical decisions.
"Just having to make these executive decisions is really hard, I think on anybody," she continued. "So it was definitely probably one of the most emotionally stressful times ever in my life."
