Will Lance Bass End Up Getting ‘The Brady Bunch’ House After All?

Lance Bass may have lost out on The Brady Bunch home in an ugly anonymous bidding war with HGTV, but the former NSYNC singer’s hopes of owning the iconic house may not be dead yet! HGTV star Jonathan Scott has offered Lance an unlikely olive branch.
Watch!
Last week, Lance told fans he’d put in a winning bid on the famous home, only for it to be snatched from him the very next day by a “Corporate Buyer (Hollywood studio) who wants the house at any cost,” he wrote on Instagram.
“We were prepared to go even higher but totally discouraged by the sellers agent, they will outperform any bid with unlimited resources,” Lance explained, adding that he felt he had been “used to drive up the price of the home knowing very well that this corporation intended on making their offer.”
Days later it was revealed HGTV was the “corporate buyer” with the unlimited budget. David Zaslay, CEO of Discovery Inc., said the company planned to “restore the Brady Bunch home to its 1970s glory as only HGTV can.”

Upon learning who the mystery bidder was, Lance said he no longer harbored any ill will towards the buyer. “HGTV??! Aw man. I’d be pretty upset if it were anyone else but how can you be mad at HGTV?? My television is stuck on that channel. Kudos HGTV, I know you will do the right thing with the house,” he tweeted.
In response to Lance’s tweet, Jonathan, star of HGTV’s hit show Property Brothers, wrote back, “Would LOVE to work with you. This is such an iconic home and it really played on important part of my childhood reinforcing strong family values :) #BradyBunchHouse #hgtv.”
Even HGTV reached out to Lance, tweeting, “Thanks, Lance! Consider yourself officially part of the HGTV bunch. Yours truly, HGTV (aka The Lance Bass Fan Club).” Lance replied, “If you’re looking for a host… I’m in!”
