Lance Bass got quite the health scare over the weekend!
The former *NSYNC singer woke up with intense stomach pains on Sunday and was quickly rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy.
Luckily, the singer seems to be in good spirits about the frightening experience. “A few hours later, I’m one appendix lighter! Oscar viewing party in my room!” he joked on Instagram following the surgery. He hashtagged the picture, “#OscarViewingParty.”
Lance also thanked his husband, Michael Turchin, for helping him through the tough time. “My husband is amazing. It is so nice to have a partner in crime in these situations,” Lance said.

Yesterday, Lance posted an update of his recovery process, telling fans, “I’m home safe and sound. Thank you all so much for the well wishes. You guys are the sweetest. Love you all.”
Lance’s emergency comes on the heels of rumors of an *NSYNC reunion, which Lance clarified as simply a group appearance of all his former bandmates in Hollywood when they receive their star on the Walk of Fame.
Still, fans are holding out hope! One person commented on his Instagram picture, “I pray for a speedy recovery, don’t forget *NSYNC tour coming up LOL.”
