LeBron James can now add style icon to his numerous sports awards and recognitions, as the NBA superstar was in Harlem, New York to accept a prestigious style award with his daughter Zhuri.
LeBron was all smiles when he attended the Black Tie Fashion Show & Style Awards for Harlem's Fashion Row on Tuesday night.
Harlem's Fashion Row is a social company that provides a voice for multicultural designers. He's collaborated with them on his first ever women's basketball shoe called the HFR x LeBron 16.
He previewed the new shoe on his Instagram Tuesday which was partially designed by three women from HFR. The goal was to create a sneaker that emphasized his belief in the power of strong African-American women, specifically those in his own life like his mother, wife, and daughter.
His adorable daughter Zhuri was on stage with him when he accepted his honor during their big event last night which coincided with New York Fashion Week.
He also made a surprise appearance at a Queens High School earlier on in the day, as the NBA legend documented on his Instagram stories. Talk about a wonderful experience had by many!
