OK! Exclusive: Lil Kim's New Face Came From A Needle, Celebrity Surgeon Claims

Lil Kim has a very different look nowadays, and even that may be an understatement! Fans could not help but react after she posted a collage of various selfies on Instagram this week and looked like a version of her former self! Celebrity plastic surgeon Joubin Gabbay spoke exclusively to OK! about the rapper’s shocking new look, and revealed what she may have done to her face!

Gabbay said, “I think the photos need to be taken with a grain of salt, as they could very well have been significantly photoshopped, and her facial contours enhanced with makeup contouring. That said, it is clear that Lil Kim has had a substantial amount of plastic surgery and injectables/fillers in her face.”

Injectable fillers, like Juvaderm or restylance can be used to plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, and even remove wrinkles.

“She has had significant filling of her cheeks, most likely with a injectable filler or possibly with cheek implants. Her lower cheeks seem to be more slim, and she may have had buccal/cheek fat reduction surgery performed,” Gabbay continued.

Another facial feature that is looking a lot different on Lil Kim these days is her nose, and Gabby confirmed that she probably had a revision rhinoplasty. And her skin color is very different than it was when she first became popular, and while it could be the result of makeup, Gabby told OK! “she may also have had skin lightening/bleaching performed.”

So why would she change her look so drastically? The 41-year-old told Newsweek back in 2000,  "I have low self-esteem and I always have," she says. "Guys always cheated on me with women who were European-looking. You know, the long-hair type."

She continued, "Really beautiful women that left me thinking, 'How I can I compete with that?' Being a regular black girl wasn't good enough."
