Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump made her first public appearance only a week after her brother Mark died of an alleged drug overdose. She put on a brave face at an event for a cause that is near and dear to her heart.
She attended the Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s 3rd Annual World Dog Day in West Hollywood on Saturday. It is a dog rescue organization that she and her husband Ken Todd founded in 2016.
At the same time, she was grateful for the outpouring of love she received from her followers, as she followed that up with another post that captioned "It’s been a devastating couple of weeks... one day at a time... I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. Love Lisa xo.” Here’s hoping her event on Saturday was just the right thing to cheer her up in this difficult time.
She looked to have skipped the red carpet, but still posed for photos next to singer Leona Lewis at the outdoors event.

Several of her Vanderpump Rules cast mates showed up as well, including Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
News broke out last weekend about her brother’s passing of an alleged drug overdose. No word yet on whether it was accidental or deliberate.
She posted a photo of them together on her Instagram on Wednesday, with the caption "Rest In Peace big brother.”
