Loni posted an article by MTO claiming that “behind the scenes” people at The Real were looking to fire Loni to “lighten” their host panel.
“They want the panel to be less black, and they’ve had trouble with Loni in the past. So I think she’s out,” the source told the site.
The insider also claimed that Loni’s been pushing too hard to have political discussions like the ladies of The View, whereas The Real audience supposedly responds better to celeb topics.

Loni posted screenshots of the article and captioned them, “Well I guess I’m going back to the Ellen show.” She posted two crying laughing face emojis as well.
Meanwhile, in a since deleted post, Loni responded to the ladies of The View, who recently threw shade at The Real after it won a Daytime Emmy. The View's hosts claimed other shows were copy cats and didn't talk about “real issues.”
Loni posted the video of the View ladies subtly bashing her show and commented, “We continue to highlight women with the hot line bling calls and give exposure to things that effect sic women of color. They can keep talking to politicians but we talk to the people!!!"
