Look Back at Kate Middleton's Best Year Ever
Every single time she leaves her house (errr, palace, that is), Kate Middleton is worthy of a news story. We have always adored her, but her maternity style and small role in bringing a new king of England into the world means 2013 was her best year yet!
Kate's baby bump made its first appearance in a 70s-style wrap dress.
The chilly London weather and Kate's very stylish coats meant the bump was mostly hidden for the middle third of her pregnancy. She's six months pregnant in this pic!
She looked super Irish at a St. Patrick's Day celebration in March.
The girl understands coats. Why have we never considered a mint green jacket before this?
Maternity clothes? What maternity clothes? Kate eschewed the typical empire waists or flowy fits until the very end of her pregnancy.
She also consistently carried tiny sprigs of flowers over her belly. You can't fool us, Kate!
In a premonition of the dress she would wear for Prince George's first appearance, Kate wore a cute, flirty polka dot dress in the spring.
Kate looked properly bright and happy at the Queen's annual garden party.
Kate looked perfectly royal (veiled hat and all) at the Queen's coronation anniversary celebration.
A duchess, in leopard?! For a totally fun event (the christening of a cruise ship), Kate wore a totally fun printed dress.

For her very last appearance before the baby was born, Kate wore pale pink, impeccable Alexander McQueen.
Baby, baby, baby! Kate and William both wore appropriately blue clothes to introduce their prince into the world. Kate's dress was a nod to the polka dots Princess Diana wore to show William to the cameras for the first time.
Kate looked radiant in their first official family portrait. Who is cutest in the pic, though?! Kate, Wills, George, or Lupo the dog?
A month after George was born, Kate was all "Baby weight? What's that?" in her first appearance. In skinny jeans!
She looks better than a model in her skinnies, and she just gave birth. Life, you are so unfair sometimes.
If we were princesses, we'd wear long sequined gowns every single day. Applause all around for this choice, then!
This fall has brought us yet more excellent Middleton coats. How many do you think she has, anyway?!
She went all brown and monochromatic for a visit with William.
Even her wardrobe malfunctions are elegant. Her skirt flew up for this pic, but we still couldn't get over the cool midnight blue color scheme.
Kate wore a Zara statement necklace... on the red carpet! Our crush will only grow bigger in 2014.
