1. Alexis Bledel and Saoirse Ronan
James plays the target of teenage assassins in 'Violet & Daisy,' but the relationship he, Alexis and Saoirse develop on-screen is more loving than you'd think. Probably because you can't help but love a big ol' teddy bear like him.
2. Brad Pitt
'Killing Them Softly' centered around the mob, much like 'The Sopranos' did, but this one had Brad Pitt, so yea.
3. Diane Lane
'Cinema Verite' was a made-for-TV movie about the making of the first American family's TV show, and Diane Lane was James' lucky leading lady.
4. Edie Falco

Edie had the luxury of playing Tony Soprano's wife on the classic HBO show for ten years. Ten! Cannot even imagine how sad she is right now.
5. John Travolta
During an interview with 'Good Morning America', John revealed that his 'Pelham 123' co-star, James, was there for him a few years ago when he lost his son, Jett, so he too plans to be there for James' family while they're mourning his loss. So sad.
6. Kristen Stewart
James played a protective father figure to Kristen's hooker character in 'Welcome to the Rileys' and his performance in that film is one of his best yet. Go see it.
7. Mark Ruffalo
James starred in the film version of 'Where the Wild Things Are' with Mark, making our favorite book from childhood that much better.
