Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta took home the award for Reality Royalty at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The show was up against The Bachelor, Jersey Shore, Vanderpump Rules and The Challenge. Angelina Pivarnick and Deena Cortese from JS were particularly bitter about the loss, prompting LHH producer Mona Scott-Young to shade them on Instagram on June 18.
Mona, 52, posted a meme of a woman eating popcorn, a nod to the golden popcorn trophies they give out at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.
She captioned the post, “They SHORE is salty *eats popcorn...from our #MTV award. ? ? ? ? ? #LHHATLWon #Periodt #pettyposttuesday ???.”
When the award winners were announced, Angelina, 32, was caught on camera screaming “what the f**k!”
She later took to Twitter and said, “We are the real winners. We don’t need an award to know it and feel it. We will always be the true MVPs.”

Angelina also tweeted, “It is disgusting and we all know the fans really voted for us !!! We def got robbed.”
Fans called Angelina out for not attempting to hide her emotions and Deena, 32, jumped in to defend her costar. “No shame. Not anything against Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. But the same cast has been here for 10 years and we show our entire lives good and bad. We were very shocked especially being our family network,” she tweeted.
The JS cast weren’t the only ones angry about the outcome. Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio from The Challenge reportedly got on stage and pulled a Kanye West. The reality star gave a speech as if the show won the Reality Royalty award during the taping on June 15, but it was edited out of the broadcast.
