According to Page Six, Luann and Tom were dining at a fancy Manhattan restaurant last week when things took a turn. An eyewitness told the site that while fighting, Luann slapped her husband! As OK! fans know, Luann decided to go through with her wedding to Tom even though he was photographed kissing another woman just days before their engagement party. “Tom and I are in love, and marriage takes work,” Luann told People magazine. “We are working on this together.”
Meanwhile, a source close to the Housewife told the mag, “They have hit a major rough patch. This was going on before the wedding, and she was too embarrassed to call it off, so she tuned out what a lot of people were saying.”
“She had confided in friends that she knew something was up and that it didn’t gel — but she had to put on a good face to avoid embarrassment. Everyone gave it six months,” the insider added.

Another source told Page Six that the real issue is Luann’s life in the public eye. “It isn’t exactly a match made in heaven,” the source told the site. “He hates the whole reality TV thing, he doesn’t want the attention or the scrutiny.”
Their rush to the altar didn’t help things either. “There has been friction from the start,” the insider claimed, adding that they’ve broken up and gotten back together multiple times. Added the source, “They got married so fast, they didn’t really know each other.”
