The Queen of Pop has fallen! Madonna took a scary backwards tumble down a flight of stairs during her performance at the Brit Awards Wednesday night.
The legendary songstress was singing her new single “Living For Love” when the painful incident occurred.
Madonna donned a statement-piece black and red cape during the performance, which was the cause of the fall! When one of Madge’s backup dancers tried to pull off the cape, she fell backwards down the platform.
Ouch! The singer landed right on her back. A source told RadarOnline.com that Madonna is “in a lot of pain, and she’s miserable.” The insider added, “She’s embarrassed, sad, and disappointed.”

Madonna blamed the accident on a wardrobe malfunction. She posted on Instagram following the performance, “Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! ❤️#livingforlove”
