Maggie Gyllenhaal has been busy promoting her Netflix film, The Kindergarten Teacher, all over the world. Most recently she was spotted at the 62nd BFI London Film Festival in England, where the movie's European premiere was held on Thursday, October 18. Scroll through to see what she wore!
The gown featured an intricate stripped design and she accessorized with very minimal jewelry. The 40-year-old paired her outfit with pointed black velvet heels and kept her short hair pushed back.
Also to attend the U.K premiere was Sara Colangelo. The director of the film wore a black maxi dress that included a brown and yellow design with a pair of black leather boots. To complete her look the blonde threw on a leather jacket and kept her hair down in natural waves.

The two were all smiles as they posed for the cameras together on the carpet. The Kindergarten Teacher which debuted on Netflix last Friday, October 12, is about a devoted teacher (Maggie) who takes interest in a young student's creative potential after hearing his poetry – but soon crosses the line into obsession.
The day after the European premiere on Friday, October 19, the brunette made an appearance at the BFI London Film Festival's "screen talk" where she answered a few questions about the movie.
For that event, Maggie went for a more professional vibe with an oversized grey suit. She kept the look casual with a light-grey t-shirt and opted for some dark brown loafers below.
