Exciting news for Mama June and her family! The reality star’s daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon gave birth to a healthy baby girl!
The 17-year-old posted the cutest photo of her newborn on Twitter. She wrote as a caption, “Today at 5:01 am me and josh officially became parents to a precious 7lb 14oz baby girl. Everyone meet Ella Grace Efird.”
Lauryn announced that she was expecting her first child in August.
“Hey guys, guess what? I’m pregnant,” she said. “I don’t know what I’m having yet, but if I had to bet, because of all of the girls in our family, I’m probably having a girl.” She was right!

“I’m really nervous about having a baby because it means it has to come out of my hoo-ha,” she added, before teasing about Joshua, her fiance. "My baby daddy’s head is the size of a freakin’ watermelon,” she said at the time. “So imagine pushing a watermelon out of your va****. No. It’s not okay. I wish I could have this child right now.”
Well she had to wait a while longer, but she and her fiancé are now parents. Congratulations!
