Under a picture of DJ AM lounging in a tee shirt, the This Is Us star wrote, “9 years. I miss you every day, Adam. #djam.”
The pair, who had known each other for years, dated for two months back in 2007.
When her ex-boyfriend passed away back in 2009, Mandy released This statement to Us Weekly: “I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones.”

DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, was found dead in his NYC apartment. The musician openly struggled with his sobriety for nine years. During a 2008 interview with Glamour he said, “Every day I have to remind myself that no matter how much time I have behind me, I'm still a drug addict.”
He explained, “At any given moment, I'm five seconds away from walking up to someone, grabbing their drink out of their hand and downing it. And if I do that, within a week, tops, I'll be smoking crack."
His death was eventually ruled an accident caused by “acute intoxication” due to a combination of cocaine and prescription drugs.
