Mandy Moore is engaged and smiling big. The This is Us star has a stunning diamond ring after her boyfriend, musician Taylor Goldsmith, who sings and plays guitar for the L.A. folk-rock band Dawes, proposed earlier this week. But that's not the only big news the actress has!
Mandy is ready to start a family, too! "I'm definitely ready for motherhood," she told People. "I think that's going to be the next chapter." The 33-year-old probably has a pretty good grip on being a mom already, considering she raises three children as her fictional NBC character, Rebecca Pearson.
And her TV husband, Milo Ventimiglia has already spoken out about her engagement news. During the Emmy Awards, he told Extra, “So excited for her, and Taylor is the loveliest of human beings. Getting to know him as well as getting to know Mandy through the years, it works, it fits, it makes sense.”
“I didn’t get the phone call asking for her hand in marriage. I’m not upset, we’re just TV spouses,” he then joked.

And while Mandy has become quite the small screen star at the moment, her proposal was pretty simple. A source told TV personality Marc Malkin he got down on one knee while they were at home.
"He was petrified. Mandy said yes and is so happy," a source told Marc.
