Mandy Moore took to Instagram to remember ex-boyfriend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein on the 10th anniversary of his death on Wednesday, August 28.

"It’s been 10 years. There are so many times I still find myself wanting to tell you about something funny or strange or exciting," Mandy, 35, captioned an old photo of the late deejay pointing at a rainbow.

She continued, "I miss your contagious, guttural laugh and your hugs. The best hugs. Miss you every day but today is always hard.”

DJ AM was found dead in his New York City apartment at the age of 36 on August 28, 2009.

His official cause of death was an accidental overdose from the combination of cocaine, Oxycodone, Vicodin, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole.
