This has us scratching our heads. Mariah Carey, who is as well known for her diva antics as she is for her iconic voice, does not think she is over-the-top in any way! Though there are more examples than ever of her making sure she is always number one, find out what she has to say about her behavior.
During a recent interview, the 45-year-old said, “I’ve never had a diva moment.” Yes, she really said that. And the reason for her saying that is because she herself has experienced a diva – her own mother! But, as they say, like mother, like daughter!
“I come from a true diva – my mother is an opera singer. That’s a real diva, you know, Julliard diva. So other people that call me a diva it’s like, ‘Honey, you don’t know what a diva is, you didn’t grow up with my mom.’”
However, there’s no way we can let Mariah off the hook without providing examples of some of her wildest requests.
