Marion Cotillard and Joaquin Phoenix were spotted filming scenes for their upcoming film, Low Life, on a boat on the Hudson River near NYC yesterday.

In the movie, Academy Award-winning actress, Marion, plays Sonya, a polish immigrant who is "tricked into a life of burlesque" by Joaquin's character, Bruno. She is then rescued by a "dazzling magician" named Orlando, played by Jeremy Renner, who helps her reunite with her sister.
James Gray wrote and directs the film, set to come out later this year.
