After 20 seasons and hundreds of solved cases, Law & Order: SVU is still loved and revered by its viewers. Last night, September 20, the cast all showed out to celebrate the long-running series. Read on to check out the pictures.
Show creator Dick Wolf was joined by Olivia Benson herself, Mariska Hargitay, and Ice-T.
Also in attendance was the very pregnant, Kelli Giddish who debuted her baby bump on the red carpet.
When asked later that night about playing her iconic character for 20 long years, Mariska had nothing but great things to say. "Olivia and I merge. We come together. I think we’re each other’s teachers. But yeah, she’s taught me a lot.”

She also insisted that she feels “fulfilled” on the show and implied that she has no plans to turn her on-screen badge and gun just yet.
She said, "It’s a lesson in being present and to not be thinking ahead. If you asked me 20 years ago, I never thought I’d be here 20 years later, and I am fulfilled and I love my co-stars and it’s an incredible collaboration with the producers and the writers, so I’m really enjoying it."
“With moments like this, you’re sort of forced to really take it in because I feel like I’ve been in this marathon for 20 years. You know, just doing the work everyday and our days are long so it’s been a long and beautiful journey to have moments to celebrate it,” she continued.
