Well we certainly won’t be hearing about any scandals from Kerry Washington! Amid rumors that she and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha are on the outs, the actress revealed why we may never know the inside scoop of their relationship!
“If I don’t talk about my personal life, it means I don’t talk about my personal life,” the actress said during an event at the SXSW Festival in Texas.
After secretly getting married to the former NFL player, rumors have swirled that they are headed for divorce, though they just had a daughter last year.
And the reason is primarily due to Nnamdi’s deteriorating career. A source told RadarOnline, “The root of the problem is that Nnamdi feels threatened by Kerry’s success” and is “bitter because he feels he should be the breadwinner.”

But considering he no longer plays for the NFL after retiring four months after their June 2013 marriage, it seems unlikely he’ll be making more money than Kerry any time soon.
Kerry continued, “That means not only did I not tell you when I was getting married, it also means if somebody has rumors about what’s going on in my marriage, I don’t refute them.”
