Friendship Over? Matt Damon Is Distancing Himself From Ben Affleck
Nov. 13 2018, Updated 3:39 p.m. ET
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have been best buddies for several decades now, but is that about to come to an end? The Jason Bourne star is reportedly trying to distance himself from the troubled actor/director for somebody with a better Hollywood reputation.
Their star power skyrocketed 20 years ago when Matt and Ben took home their first Oscar together for Best Original Screenplay in 1998 for Good Will Hunting.
Things between these two have appeared to change for the worse recently. Ben's drama over the past couple of years, including his recent rehab stint for alcohol addiction and his fling with 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton, has caused Matt to distance himself from him for one big reason.
"Matt is on a mission to reinvent himself in Hollywood," sources told OK! exclusively.

Now Matt has been spending a lot of time with another Hollywood heartthrob, who is described as "wholesome as they come," according to the insider.
