Megan Thee Stallion and her makeup artist Akil McCoy are at war on social media! Megan proudly shared a clip from her interview with Vogue Magazine on Instagram and Akil claimed the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper never gave him credit for his makeup which led to a heated exchange of words.
“Vogue Magazine followed your favorite hot girl around for the day!!!” Meghan, 24, revealed on October 22.
In the interview, the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper was asked, “How did you learn to do makeup?” Megan replied, while she was touching up her makeup, “One day my grandma just bought me hella eyeshadow from like the Dollar Store probably. I was like 12.”
“When my grandma did that it was over for these b**ches,” the rapper continued. “My mom arched my eyebrows for the first time when I was in ninth grade and I like took over.”
Megan’s makeup artist Akil, 26, commented on the clip and wrote, “Makeup By Akilaface.” The “Big Ole Freak” rapper responded, “Akilaface and me.”

The remark upset the Texan native’s makeup artist and he clapped back, “No. You filled in your eyebrows and put on your lighter Mac powder when I was done. This is not a makeup war I always do your makeup and never get credited. That is hurtful.”
“Woah,” Megan responded in shock. “First of all if you was really ‘hurt’ you could’ve texted me this. Second you right it ain’t a war because we all know I do my makeup and you touch it up or I let you start it and I’ll finish it.”
Akil proceeded to share photos of makeup he did on Megan, such as the looks for her music video “Hot Girl Summer.” He addressed the fight on his Instagram Story and wrote, “You don’t know the situation and I don’t have to throw shade to get a fan base. Hate it or love it. And b*** h I could never fumble no bag. And thirdly, I never disrespected anyone. I love the girl. Good day. I hope EVERY artist out there would understand me. The end.”
“I had to learn that a lot of people’s definition of loyalty is different than mine,” Megan wrote on Twitter hours before the feud. “That’s why I can’t relate to certain people.”
