Meghan, 37, attended the all-girls catholic school Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles and graduated in 1999.

She missed the reunion at her old stomping grounds because it was held a day before she gave birth to her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The former Suits star welcomed her and Harry's first child on May 6 and the event was held on May 5.

The royal sent a letter that was written on the Kensington Palace stationary to her old school pals.

She apologized for not being able to attend and one alumnae of the class shared the thoughtful note on her Instagram stories.

The high school even posted a sweet Facebook message to the Duchess on the day she gave birth. "Immaculate Heart High School & Middle School congratulates IH alumna Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her husband, Prince Harry, on the birth of their son. The school community extends best wishes of happiness to the Royal Family on this joyous event," the school wrote.
