Meghan Markle isn’t afraid of a little challenge! While touring Ireland with Prince Harry on Wednesday, the Duchess wore stiletto heels while traversing Dublin’s cobblestone streets. When a fan asked how she was handling the unusual terrain, Meghan’s response was so relatable!
During day two of their royal tour, Harry and Meghan paid a visit to the Irish Famine Memorial. The ground surrounding it was covered in cobblestones.
As all ladies know, things can get particularly wobbly when one wears heels on cobblestones. But Meghan didn’t seem fazed!
Fans expressed concern over Meghan’s choice of footwear and asked how she was doing walking over the uneven streets. “I’m trying!” she replied, People first reported.
Meghan also chose to wear her stilettos when she and Harry met with athletes at Dublin’s Croke Park. While her new sister-in-law Kate Middleton may have opted for her classic wedges for the sporting event, Meghan risked heels — and pulled it off!
Meghan and Harry’s visit to Ireland has been a whirlwind. The couple touched down on Tuesday afternoon and met with the country’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, then attended a reception at the home of the British Ambassador to Ireland. On Wednesday morning, the pair met with Ireland’s president, Michael Higgins.
