Meghan Markle’s Mom Doria Ragland Has Plans To Make The Big Move To The UK

It appears that more big changes are on the horizon for Meghan Markle and her family. This time, it involves her mother Doria Ragland and a possible transatlantic move. Read on to find out why the Duchess’ mother wants to buy a place across the pond.
According to a source, Doria has plans to buy a UK home in order to be closer to Meghan and her new hubby.
The insider explained that the mother-daughter duo are extremely close and “speak on the phone pretty much every day,” so the long distance has got to be rough on them. Doria is a yoga instructor who is based in LA, which is also where Meghan grew up.
The 62-year-old reportedly wishes to be a bit closer to the happy couple just in case any
“grandchildren come along.”

The source said, “I think the idea is that Doria will have a pied-à-terre here so that she has her own space. She wants the ability to be here more often, especially if grandchildren come along.”
Last week, the mother of one got a taste of what her new UK life when she appeared at the Kensington Palace reception celebrating the launch of the Duchess and Grenfell Tower survivor’s project, Together: Our Community Cookbook.
According to those in attendance, Doria went around humbly introducing herself as “Meg's mom.” That event was the first time Meghan and Doria had been publicly seen together since the royal wedding.
