Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are engaged! Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles, announced the happy news this morning and revealed the couple is planning a spring wedding next year. Soon after, Harry and Meghan made their first appearance as an engaged couple in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace, where Meghan showed off her stunning engagement ring. Meghan and Harry were spotted as they walked out of Kensington Palace and into the gardens, where they greeted photographers.
The two were all smiles as they answered questions. When asked how he proposed, Harry replied, “That will come later.”
When asked if it was romantic, Harry joked, “Of course it was!”
Harry said he was “thrilled” while Meghan said she was “very happy.”

Meghan then showed off her stunning diamond engagement ring!
When asked how he knew Meghan was the one, Harry replied, “From the very first time we met.”
Harry and Meghan have been together for over a year, and royal experts have been anticipating their engagement for some time! Meghan has been making arrangements for a move to London, and Harry reportedly asked his grandmother Queen Elizabeth for her blessing over tea last month.
