Pregnant Meghan Markle Channels Princess Diana In Her Daring Purple & Red Ensemble

Meghan Markle paid tribute to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana when she and husband Prince Harry visited Birkenhead on Monday, January 14. The pregnant Duchess of Sussex rocked a vibrant purple and red color combo that Diana wore on several occasions way back when. Meghan's elegant and bold choice of fashion gave the cold and dreary day a much needed pop of color.
Meghan sported a cherry-red wool coat, a deep purple dress and matching red suede stilettos. A brown leather bucket bag dangled from her wrist.
Princess Diana modeled the same colors on several occasions back in the 1990s. The "People's Princess" was the epitome of style and class.
The late Princess of Wales wore the colors when she rocked this look during a visit to the famous Taj Mahal landmark in 1992.
