Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Honor Princess Diana On Social Media For The First Time
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry paid tribute to Princess Diana on their joint Instagram account for the very first time on Friday, August 9.
With the social media post, Meghan, 38, and Harry, 34, made an effort to carry on Diana's kind and humanitarian legacy. The world tragically lost the "People's Princess" on August 31, 1997 at the age of 36.
The couple captioned the post, "Words have the power to inspire, which is why we’re happy to share some of our favourite quotes."
On the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's account, they posted a quote by the late Princess of Wales.

"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you,” the saying read.
They continued, "From members of the public to public figures, from teachers and students to young leaders, we begin with a quote from Diana, Princess of Wales."
While the photo is the first first time that they’ve mentioned Diana on their Instagram, they did share an emotional nod to her on Mother's Day. They posted a photo of their son Archie, who was surrounded by Diana’s favorite flower, forget-me-nots.
