Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Share Heartwarming Mother's Day Post Days After She Gives Birth

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a beautiful Mother's Day post on their Instagram Sunday, May 12. It came at a good time for them as they just welcomed their first child, a son named Archie, six days before. Read on for all the details.

The post included a photo of Meghan's hand holding her newborn sons adorable little feet.
"Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered," the post began.

"We honor and celebrate each and every one of you. Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe."
The focus then shifted back on Meghan at the end of the post. "This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex. Quote from 'lands': my mother was my first country; the first place i ever lived."
Meghan welcomed Archie on Monday, May 6. It occurred shortly after Kensington Palace announced she was in labor.
