May 22 2017, Updated 2:38 p.m. ET
Megyn Kelly’s new NBC show finally has a premiere date! On Sunday, June 4, fans of the former Fox News star can see Megyn back on TV in her new show, Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly. The primetime show will air at 7 p.m., network sources told Page Six. According to the publication, Kelly’s first guest could be as big as Vladimir Putin, with whom Megyn is hoping to land an exclusive sit-down interview. Kelly is also set to get her own morning talk show in September, causing lots of worry amongst her NBC coworkers.
As OK! readers know, the third hour of Today was cancelled earlier this year, reportedly to make room for Megyn. The time slot was hosted by Al Roker and Tamron Hall, who abruptly left NBC after the decision was made.
It was even rumored that Megyn would take over the 7 a.m. show with Matt Lauer and push Savannah Guthrie out of her longtime role as morning co-anchor!

A source told RadarOnline.com that Megyn’s hiring also caused panic at ABC, where Kelly Ripa hosts Live with Kelly during the 9 a.m. time slot. The insider claimed Megyn was even considered as a replacement for Kelly’s former co-host, Michael Strahan, before the network recently settled on Ryan Seacrest.
But at least one person is glad to have Megyn join the NBC circuit. Today co-host Hoda Kotb recently posted a pic with Megyn, captioning it, “So happy to have you with us at NBC!! Let’s have some fun xo.”
